UNIVERSITY OF EXETER
A GLOBAL REPOSITIONING
ELEVATING RESEARCH AND INNOVATION TO A WORLD STAGE.
Spread across 4 campuses in Devon and Cornwall in the south-west of England and a member of the influential Russell Group, the University of Exeter has six academic colleges catering to a student cohort of over 23,000.
The University has been working with us since 2020 on campaigns to enhance global awareness of the institution, build reputation, and to help elevate its global rankings.
MAKING THE CALL FOR ACTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE
In these uncertain times, creating campaigns that showcase a strong brand position will help the University attract leading academics and deliver on ambitions for international student growth and global partnerships.
One such campaign is Green Futures, launched to coincide with two milestone meetings for global action on climate and ecological emergency this year: the G7 in Cornwall and COP26 in Glasgow.
LEADING THE WAY FOR 20 YEARS
For more than twenty years the University has been a leading light in interdisciplinary research to better understand and tackle environment and climate change. It is also home to the UK’s five most influential climate scientists*
We created the Green Futures campaign to highlight how the university is mobilizing its expertise in research and education to accelerate global action in partnership with governments, businesses and communities.
WE WERE CLEAR AND CONFIDENT
Focusing on 4 key areas of research: Biodiversity, Energy, Marine and Environmental Intelligence, we developed a suite of multimedia campaign assets and a dedicated content hub – featuring interviews with key academics, as well as articles and blogs full of the latest environmental and climate insights, research data.
The global campaign launched across digital channels and media partnerships in the weeks leading up to the G7 summit, succeeding in propelling the university’s solutions-driven research to new levels of engagement and awareness.
Following on from previous campaigns on Positive Tipping Points and Anti-Microbial Research, Green Futures is continuing to enhance the University’s reputation for research strength in key global markets.
