Venn Life Sciences
Mammoth were appointed to implement a full rebrand and reposition programme for Dublin based pharma company, Venn Life Sciences after their recent multimillion euro acquisition of Finnish company, Encorium. The project includes both internal staff rollout as well as external audience marketing. And whilst the project will culminate in a wide range of corporate and product marketing collateral (such as brand book, brochures, advertising campaign, event and exhibition materials and website) the main role is to give them a fresh new image, that of a powerful, up-and-coming challenger brand in their sector.
Rebranding an Irish-American Sports Foundation
Sport Changes Life is an American-Irish Benevolent Foundation that was established to bring real change to the lives of many young, under-privileged children in Ireland. Mammoth were appointed to rename it (from USNI Sport) and create a new brand for the foundation that would allow it to lobby wealthy Irish-American institutions for million dollar donations to establish sports-based personal development and work exchanges between and the United States and Ireland.
Branding the 'app that builds an app'
When Irish company, Jampot, invented an App that enabled users to create their own DIY APP they knew they were onto something special. First-mover advantage and speed-to-market with such a device is key, as well as a memorable name and brand. And with the opportunity to pitch their product to prospective partners in Silicon Valley they approached Mammoth to create a new brand for their product – TheAppBuilder - as well as a new brand position for their company, JamPot. We also designed and built websites, assisted with GUI development for the app; and created 'How To' video animations.
Kingsbridge Private Hospital
The Kingsbridge brand represents a new standard of private healthcare in Belfast. Located on the Lisburn Road, Belfast, Kingsbridge Private Hospital offers five star medical and surgical healthcare by a network of leading consultants in state-of-the-art facilities. Mammoth worked with Kingsbridge to create a brand position that articulates the high standards of its personal healthcare offering during the launch period of the new facility.
Down Royal race course is one of the top race courses in Ireland with new facilities opened in 2009. We have worked with Down Royal since 2006 when we created the new brand and identity and implemented their new launch campaign. We have been working with them on a range of marketing initiatives such as direct marketing, TV & radio adverts, press advertising and race day collateral. Our recent campaign for the winter festival used single striking images to tell the story.
National Asbestos Helpline
The UK-wide National Asbestos Helpline was established to help sufferers of asbestos related diseases get access to the correct emotional, financial and practical support. Recent growth in their services meant that they wanted to reposition and strengthen their brand. Because of the delicate nature of Asbestos disease, it was important to find the right approach for the new brand position to encourage sufferers to pursue compensation from the government. The new brand reposition is currently being rolled out across all consumer facing collateral, digital media, direct marketing and advertising.
Queen's University Belfast
We have been working with Queen's University since 2007, producing a wide variety of marketing collateral, digital projects, advertising & events. In 2010, with new UK student fees announced by the government, they asked us to start work on re-inventing and repositioning their brand with more strength and character to help retain their exceptionally high calibre and number of student applications. This reposition of the brand would also help attract students and academics from a wider international basis.
Appointed as Enterprise Ireland’s sole advertising agency in 2007, our role is to create all advertising and media campaigns for their European Support Funds and also their corporate marketing and recruitment. In addition to wide variety of traditional advertising campaigns we have created a multitude of additional presentations and animations for major events for local and overseas offices.
Equiniti are one of the largest Share Registrars in the UK. Headquartered in London, they manage the share solutions of more than 17 million people in the UK and manage over £11 billion in payments through public and private sector pensions and payroll schemes. They work with over 50% of the FTSE 100. They also now work with Mammoth. We were appointed in Feb 2011 to create a new brand position for the merger of Equiniti with another heavyweight bluechip corporate Xafinity, to form the Equiniti Group.
Bank of Ireland
We were appointed to Bank of Ireland in 2008 as one of two roster agencies to handle campaigns on an all-Ireland and GB basis. We revamped their brand position for their business banking division; devised the branding for the successful National Enterprise Week initiative; and manage all marketing for second and third level student initiatives. We also got to produce the TV 'sponsor stings' for the popular Dragons Den programme on RTE. This was a live shoot - famously involving both babies and animals - which has been very well received.
Musgrave Marketplace are the No1 Wholesaler in Ireland. After a competitive pitch involving agencies from Dublin and Belfast, we were appointed in March 2011 to conceive and implement an integrated advertising campaign across Outdoor, Radio, TV, Press and Digital Media for the relaunch of their 6 stores in Northern Ireland. We have also been working with them on their Customer Journey, (from “Car Park to Check Out”) to ensure the client has the strongest possible brand experience as they go about their shopping.
ICON are one of the largest clinical trial organisations in the world, turning over $1 billion a year and operating in over 30 countries with more than 8,000 staff. In Spring 2006, we were appointed to revamp ICON’s brand position and create a stronger image that would give them a platform to grow with strength and consistency on an international basis. We implemented a global brand programme rolled out across all international offices. We work with them on an ongoing basis producing all marketing collateral, digital projects and advertising.
QuoteZone.co.uk is the fifth largest insurance price comparison website in the UK. The company is owned and managed by two brothers from their base in Belfast and offices in Romania. It competes against huge advertisers such as Compare the Market, Go Compare and Money Supermarket. So, it’s hard not to be impressed when you realise that they got to this position with determined hard work and a strong online brand. We worked with QuoteZone to produce their first live TV campaign specifically geared for the Scottish market.
We approached the NI Hospice in 2007 as a charity that we felt was doing tremendous work locally in Northern Ireland and which needed a brand ‘facelift’. We worked for 6 months with the management team on a pro-bono basis to carry out a root & branch audit of all their brand and marketing activity and then created a new, strong, differentiated position for the charity which will help them stand out from so many other charities and increase funding potential. We implemented the new brand across all areas, their shops, their marketing and their website. We continue to work with the Hospice as an ongoing client to this day.
University of Ulster
Since our appointment to the brand, design and digital panels at University of Ulster, we have been involved in a number of exciting projects that have benefitted from our wide experience and knowledge of working with universities. Key projects include the redesign and development of the University's alumni magazine, The Ulster Graduate; the first edition of an internal recruitment magazine; Ulster Graduation booklets; Prospectuses and Annual Reviews.
